Chapter 18

Just so many realizations came to mind as I took my glorious shower.

Up to this point, the blog has been mostly grounded in hard facts, not speculation.

I have been somewhat surprised REDACTED hasn’t noticed this blog by now. And I promise if she knew I would have heard by now.

There are plenty of people in my circle, on Facebook that would have told her in the past.

I noticed REDACTED’s sister accepted a recent friend request. We used to be best friend’s but when REDACTED and I were at our worst, she fiercely defended her sister.

To my knowledge they haven’t spoken in a while. I don’t know why. I’ve asked several times and she’ll dismiss me. Anytime we get into a fight she says me and her sister deserve each other.

I’m friends with her past coworkers at Outback on Facebook and other family members.

I’ve noticed a pattern. REDACTED will have someone really close to her, and they will be a ride or die and loyally defend her, then they just disappear from her life. They exile themselves from REDACTED.

I think the truth of the matter is that the REDACTED we once knew is dead. Each of her close relationships has an expiration date. They can only tolerate her so long.

But she is cunning and always makes sure to have one person to allow her to stay afloat. I’ve fallen into that trap a dozen times.

Right now that’s her husband. Why? I’m not sure.

When I was with REDACTED and she was at her worst I reached out to one of her lifelong friends and this happened:

I reached out to a manager we had at Outback and the next time I go to Outback to pick up a Door Dash order she scolds me.

REDACTED will use you until she has no use for you and mistreat you until you retreat.

Then plays the victim. Has an excuse for every situation.

She lived with her dad recently and now is charged with terroristic threatening.

I think anyone who might have the slightest inkling to respond to our situation ultimately recognizes this is between two adults. And I have suffered a lifetime of misery in 3 short years under her.

She’s gone from this vibrant, charismatic, beautiful girl that could have any man to someone the public is berating under her mugshot on Facebook. Calling her “Methany” or accusing her of having herpes.

She’s a sinking ship.
